Sarah Wilcoxon Boone (named for her great-aunt, Sarah Boone Wilcoxen) was a granddaughter of Daniel Boone. She was born to Nathan Boone and Olive Van Bibber in St. Charles County, Missouri. She married Winfield S.M. Wright who became a '49er from Missouri. After they went to California her husband became one of the wealthiest men in Sonoma County.
