William was a son of John and Fredericka Lehmann Heiden. He was my grandmother's brother. William immigrated to the United States with his parents as a small boy and in 1900 he married Hattie Ingalls in Walworth County Wisconsin. They had nine children: Florence, Emma, Mary, Katherine, Ethel, Bowman , Agnes, Edna and Irene. William was employed as as a caretaker on the Wrigley Estate located on Geneva Lake in Lake Geneva WI. He suffered a fatal injury on the job.
