In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, infant daughter Evelyn and sons Paul and Ralph, as well as 5 of his siblings.
Sons Robert, Jr and Earl, daughter Thelma Nitterhouse Funk, 5 grandchildren, sisters Katherine (Mrs. John C.) Heckman of White Deer, PA and Bernice (Mrs. Cecil W.) Bly of Strasburg, Va; brothers Howard L of Valley Stream, NY and Russel T of Chamberbsurg survived him.
