WELL KNOWN FARMER DIES AFTER TWO YEARS ILLNESS
J. H. Branham, aged 60, highly respected citizen who formerly resided on Parks Ridge, died Sunday night at his home in Cross Plains. Death followed a two years illness of heart trouble.
Mr. Branham was born in Kentucky but moved to Switzerland county fifteen years ago. Recently he moved from this county to Cross Plains. He is survived by his wife and eleven children.
Funeral services were conducted at the Cross Plains Baptist church Wednesday morning and burial was made in Vevay cemetery.

Obituary
J. H. Branham was the son of William A. Branham and Lucy Ann Morrow and was born at Owen County, Ky., on Feb. 18, 1861 and died November 27, 1921. He was a member of the Baptist church at Bethel, Owen County, Ky.
He was married on December 20, 1880 to Carrie Laura McDonald. Besides his wife he is survived by eleven children, Sarah Lula "Loulie" Branham Spenneberg, Worthville, Ky., Henry Branham, Worthville, Ky., Arthur Lee Branham, Sherman Branham, Mrs. Bertha Branham Brandon, Mrs. Mamie Branham Lester, Cephalius Branham, Mrs. Nellie Morellion, Ruth James and Leonard Branham, all of Indiana. He also is survived by two brothers, Kirby and Newman Branham and a number of grandchildren and a wide circle of other relatives and friends, in all of whom are hearts bowed down with grief.
He moved to Switzerland County fifteen years ago. Recently he moved from Switzerland Co. to Cross Plains, Ind., in 1919.
Funeral services were conducted at the Cross Plains Baptist church Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock and burial was made in the Vevay cemetery.
