Former Resident Dies On Monday In Cincinnati

Mrs. Carrie Branham, 88, a former resident of this county passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati on Monday, August 8th, after sustaining a broken hip in a fall last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mamie Lester in Rising Sun.

Born in Illinois on June 22, 1861, she was the daughter of John and Martha McDonald.

She is survived by the following children: Arthur Lee Branham of North Madison; William Henry "Willie" Branham, Worthville, Ky.; Sherman, Owenton, Ky.; Leonard and James, Lawrenceburg; Mrs. Millie Morellion and Miss Ruth Branham, of Cincinnati; Mrs. Mamie Lester, Rising Sun and Mrs. Bertha Brandon, of Moorefield.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Walter Peters at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home. Burial was made in Vevay cemetery.
