She was a member of the Methodist Church, and before her illness was active in the Sunday school and Woman's Society of Christian Service. She was born at Millikens Bend, and had spent her entire life in Madison parish.
She is survived by three sons, W. P. Sevier Jr., Jim Sevier, Barton Sevier, all of Tallulah; four daughters, Mrs. Earl Warrick of Tendal; Mrs. W. W. Ziegler, Tallulah; Mrs. Dan Donald, Jennings; Mrs. T. E. McNeel, Manilla, Philippine Islands; two sisters, Mrs. George Davis, Jonesville, La.; Mrs. George Jordan, Tallulah, and nine grandchildren.
