Margie L. Shifflett, 62, of 2088 Irish Path, Harrisonburg died Friday, June 17, 2005, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Shifflett was born Sept. 11,1942, and was a daughter of the late Samuel W. and Clara Jones Smith. She graduated from Monterey High School. She was employed at Metro Pants for a number of years, retired from Walker Manufacturing, and recently worked for Wal-Mart.
On Nov. 2,1963, she married Richard C. Shifflett, who preceded her in death Feb. 22, 1992. She is survived by a brother Gilbert Smith of McGaheysville; three sisters, Virginia Simmons of McGaheysville, Margaret Bright of Manassas and Goldie Burke of Winchester; and a number of nieces and nephews.
