Lester Otto Schoen of San Antonio, TX, age 76, passed away Friday, July 16, 2004. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. For many years, Lester was an active member of Glendora Ave. Church of Christ and was the owner of Lester's Roofing and Sheet Metal Company for 16 years.

Lester is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ruth; son, David and his wife Elizabeth; daughter, Patricia Strange and her husband Eric; grandchildren, Hannah Schoen, Ashley Hernandez and her husband Zak, and Shannon Strange; great grandchild, Christina Hernandez; sisters, Evalon Redden, Mildred Harcrow and Joyce Wilks and her husband Kirby; brother-in-law, Buddy McAtee; sister-in-law, Thelma Schoen and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

The family will receive friends at Porter Loring Mortuary North on Monday, July 19, 2004 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. SERVICE TUESDAY 9:30 A.M. PORTER LORING NORTH CHAPEL With Mr. Murl Helwig officiating. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park North.
