Frank Edwin Salyers, 91, of Salyers Road, Piketon, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning May 28, 2013 at his home. He was born April 18, 1922 in Elliott County, Kentucky, son of the late David Marion Salyers and Elizabeth Ison Salyers. On March 12, 1946, Frank was united in marriage to Bessie Lewis Salyers, who survives.

Also surviving are
three sons, Hal Salyers and wife Carol, Wayne Salyers and wife Debbie, Eddie Salyers and wife Pam all of Piketon;
six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren;
a sister, Ruth Cooper of West Union, Ohio;
three brothers, Edgar Salyers and wife Lois of Billings Missouri, Samuel Salyers and wife Pauline of Dayton, Ohio and John Salyers and wife Mildred of Columbus, Ohio.

He was also preceded in death by
two brothers, Ison and Tom Salyers;
a sister, Edith Salyers.

Frank attended Mt. Olive Community Church on Camp Creek, was a WWII U.S. Army veteran, and a retired union carpenter and farmer.

Funeral service at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home in Piketon with Pastor Berry Penn officiating. Burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
