The funeral services over the remains of the last Mrs. Caroline Rosina Scholer were held Saturday afternoon at one o'clock from the Methodist church. Rev. Charles H. Miller officiated and interment was made in Woodville cemetery. The deceased's maiden name was Caroline Rosina Fell and she was born on May 9th, 1861, in Iosco township. Her marriage to Mr. Edward Scholer took place on March 15th, 1888. Her husband preceded her in death twenty-two years ago. She spent her entire life in this county and was an industrious woman deeply devoted to her family and her friends. Her last illness was of between two and three weeks duration and she passed away Thursday afternoon, May 15th, at the age of 63 years and 5 days as a result of heart disease. Besides her immediate family, consisting of four sons and two daughters, she is survived by her aged mother, two sisters and four brothers. The sons and daughters are: Wesley Scholer of Minneapolis, John and Wm. Scholer and Mrs. Jesse Draheim of Waseca and Edward and Miss Frieda Scholer, who lived at home with their mother. The brothers are Louis and Henry Fell of Iosco, William of Blooming Grove and Emil of this city. The sisters are Mrs. William Wolters of Iosco and Mrs. Henry Behne of this city.
