He was a machinist with the Naval Research Laboratory. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He attended Englewood United Methodist Church. He was a member of Masonic Lodge Kemper No. 64 in Falls Church, Va., and Myakka Pines Golf Club.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Anna Judd; one daughter, Saralynn Pinson of Denton, Texas; one son, John F. Judd III of Indianapolis; one sister, Mary Buxton of Hagerstown; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services will be conducted by Kemper-Maco Ware Lodge 64 of Falls Church, Va., Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown.
