1) 'Pat' Milton Romaine Davis
2) 'Chuck' Charles Roger Clarida
3) John Williams Dudley
m/o Jimmie Dale and Marsha Davis.

Doris was born in Gann Valley, South Dakota on the family's homestead; the youngest of five. The family moved to California in about 1926 to Long Beach due to her mother's health. Her dad worked in the oil fields and later was foreman on the discovery well in the Kettleman Hills Oil Field. All her siblings married and remained indescribably close. Their mother died in 1931 when Doris was 15.

She married 'Pat' M. R. Davis in 1934 and had two children. She worked as a dressmaker, in a drug store and a grocery, a cotton company and in all the family's businesses. She and Pat divorced after 1954.

Doris married 2nd 'Chuck' Clarida on 14 Feb 1965 in Nevada. Their divorced in May 1973 in Lake Co, CA. Her 3rd marriage to John Williams Dudley on Jan. 6, 1974 in Nice, CA and was a very happy union.

When a Dunham sibling moved because of a new job opportunity, the others soon followed.... cousins joined too.. They were family oriented enjoying fishing, picnics, evening meals and card games, square dancing, and business endeavors together. The Dunham five's last move as a unit was to Lake Co, CA.

Doris and her sister Dorothy operated The Evergreen Guest Home in Lakeport in the 1980's. Later her sisters, Rae and Dorothy operated a guest home for elderly women in Nice, CA. Both homes had long waiting lists for residency.

Their only brother who they adored, Roy Dunham owned Lake Hobby & Bicycle shop in Lakeport. After completing a 20 year career in the Navy Doris' son Jimmie, purchased the shop from his uncle and operated it as Lake Cyclery. A few thriving years later he sold it back to his Uncle to take a job in the Nuclear Power industry on the east coast.

Doris' last home was in Nice, CA with her dear husband John. They enjoyed traveling and square dancing. In 1983 they visited his son, a University professor in Malwai, Africa. On their way home they made a detour stop to see her newborn and youngest granddaughter in Louisiana before they returned to California. She knitted, macrame, string art, and made various variety of craft items to give as gifts. She had a sizable collection of figurines of her favorite animal, elephants.

She had a wonderful sense of humor; living life to the fullest, a real gem. In 1985, God took her home after her valiant quiet battle of emphysema and lung cancer... Now she's worshiping and enjoying the Lord!
