W.M. ARMSTRONG
Services for William McGarvey Armstrong, a retired farmer, were held Friday afternoon at Coble Church of Christ near Centerville. Burial was in Chessor Cemetery under direction of Fields Funeral Home.
Mr. Armstrong, who was 74, died Thursday afternoon at Milan Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Hickman County and moved to Milan several years ago to make his home with his nephew, Roy Armstrong [son of John & Mollie Armstrong]. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of Bogota Church of Christ.
He leaves a sister, Mrs. Lou Armstrong of Dyer and a half-sister, Mrs. Susie Denton of Oklahoma.
