Mrs. Catherine Haller, fifty-seven, died in St. Vincent's Hospital at 4:30 p.m., Monday, less than two hours after she had fallen down the cellar steps in her home at 901 W. 25th St. She is the mother of nine children.

An investigation by the Dr. W.G. Stroble, coroner, revealed that Mrs. Haller had been in ill health for some time and she is believed to have suffered an attack of apoplexy while going down the steps. She was rendered unconscious and was removed to the hospital by members of her family. The shock, superinduced by the heart attack and fall, is believed to have caused her death.

Mrs. Haller was the daughter of George Angerer and Catherine Braun who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Haller; four sons, George S. Haller, Alahambra, Calif; Joseph,Jr., John C., and Rudolf M., all of Erie, and five daughters, Mrs. George C Huegel, Mrs. Eugene Willet, Mrs. A.E. Levesque, Mrs. Earl McDonald and Miss Edna Haller all of Erie.

Three brothers and one sister also survive. They are Theodore, Michael and John Angerer and Mrs. John Burkell, all of Erie.

Funeral was held from Liebel Funeral Home and Funeral Mass was at 9'oclock in the Sacred Heart Church. Burial in the Calvary Cemetery.
