My great-aunt Anna Victoria was the sister to my grandmother, Amanda HUDLOW Arnold, and one of 14 children. She was the daughter of William Wright Hudlow and Eliza Jane GAROUTTE Hudlow. Her grandparents were William Beaver Hudlow and Margaret WILLIAMS Hudlow along with maternal grandparents, Isaac Garoutte and Martha Jane SMITH Garoutte.

On August 9, 1893, Anna married Richard Callison in Howell County, Missouri. She was age 15 and Richard was age 19 when they married. He was the son of George Washington Callison and Rachael REEVES Callison.

For the first fifteen years of their marriage, they made their home in Howell County, Missouri where they were both born and where their first seven children were born. Around 1908, Anna and Richard relocated to Knobel, Clay County, Arkansas. After moving to Knobel, they were blessed with three more children.

They named their ten children in order of birth; Seborne Russell, William W., Thurman J., Phoebe Ruth, Alpha M., Floyd Rance, Emaline, Oscar Richard, Nellie Edna, and Amos E. Callison.

It was while living in Arkansas that great-aunt Anna Victoria Callison died. She had been preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.

Anna's survivors included her husband, 10 children, her mother; Eliza Jane Hudlow, 13 brothers and sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins, other family members, and friends.

Great-aunt Anna Victoria was much loved and missed by all who knew her.
