William Wallace Martin, was a smart Republican. He was a quiet, industrious man, and took the farm owned by his father and lived there until his death. His wife was one of the busiest women in the church ( both were active Universalists) and the Compiler remembers her very pleasantly as his early and long time Social Studies Teacher. Previous to her death her son George came to occupy the farm and lived their several years.
