I've been researching my ancestors for more than 20 years and have made remarkable progress partly due to sites like Find A Grave and the people that so generously offer their time to help complete strangers. From my own experience I know it can sometimes take a lot of time to find the stones, especially the old ones and taking a good picture can be quite a challenge. So for those that dedicate their time to taking photos I greatly appreciate their effort. I enjoy hearing back from the people requesting photos. It makes it seem all the more worthwhile when I know I have helped them with a little piece of their puzzle.
Most of the memorials I have created are not my ancestors so I'm more than happy to transfer memorial ownership if you have a connection. I try to add as much information as I can regarding their dates and places of birth and death but I do make mistakes. I'll gladly make corrections or add additional information so long as you have documentation to verify your request.
