"Mrs William Armitage - Mrs Espey Nichols Armitage, wife of William Armitage of Cobbs Corners, northeast of the city, died at the Corry hospital Sunday morning, following a major operation. Her death was a distinct shock to her wide acquaintance, as few friends knew of her illness. She was formerly a teacher in the Cobbs Corners vicinity and well known. Besides the husband, she leaves a son, William Armitage, Jr, and her mother, Mrs Nettie Nichols of Trimms. Funeral services will be conducted from the family home at Cobbs Corners, Tuesday at 2 pm."
