Chilton Times March 4, 1916

Thresia Heimann
On Tuesday morning, February 29th, at her home in the town of Charlestown, Mrs. August Heimann yielded her young life after a brief illness, aged 30 years, 4 months and 9 days. She had been ailing for about three weeks but was confined to her bed but one week, her illness developing into lung fever from which she died.

Theresa Steffen was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Steffen Sr. of St. Nazianz and was born Oct. 20th, 1885. She was married to August Heimann on Oct. 20, 1914, and with him resided on the old Heimann homestead in the town of Charlestown until called by death.

She made many friends in the neighborhood and by them was highly respected and beloved. She was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church and a regular attendant until ill health made it impossible for her to leave home.

The funeral was held from that church on Thursday, Rev. Fr. Raphael Wittig celebrated the Requiem Mass, and interment being in St. Martin's Cemetery. The deceased is survived by her husband, father and mother and eight brothers, to all of whom the sympathy of the community is extended.
