MRS. BERNICE WARD
CARNESVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Bernice Maderia Andrews Ward, 88, of Route 2, widow of Claude Ward, died Saturday.
Born in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late James and Texie Cape Andrews. She was a member of Allens United Methodist Church.
Surviving are step-mother, Lila Stone of Greenwood, S. C.; daughters, Mrs. Louise Bennett of Carnesville, Mrs. Jimmie Sue Oliver of Pickens, S. C .; brother, Joe Brown Andrews of Gray; sister, Mrs. Joe Akin of Carnesville; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Services at 3 p.m. Sunday at Allens United Methodist Church by the Revs. Walton McNeal and T. M. Oliver. Burial in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
The body is at Ginn Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 2: 30 p.m. Sunday. The family is at the home of Mrs. Louise Bennett, Carnesville.
