CLAUDE WARD
CARNESVILLE, Ga. - Claude Ward 83, died late Thursday night at Cobb Memorial Hospital.
He was the son of the late W. C. Ward and Ida Kesler Ward. He was a member of Allens Methodist Church for 65 years, was a member of the Men's Bible Class and was on the administrative board.
Surviving are widow, Bernice Andrews Ward; daughters, Mrs. Paul Oliver of Pickens, S. C., Mrs. Homer Bennett and Mrs. Linda Andrews of Carnesville; sisters, Mrs. G. D. Purcell of Carnesville; Miss Beulah Ward and Miss Mae Ward of Toccoa, Stephens County, Georgia, Ga.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Services at 3 p.m. Saturday at Allens Methodist Church by the Rev. Cecil Dudley. Burial in Franklin Memorial Gardens.
The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville, is in charge of arrangements.
