A, 50th Pennsylvania Infantry. He re-enlisted as a Veteran Volunteer January 4, 1864, at Blaine's Crossroads, Tennessee, and honorably discharged with his company June 30, 1865.
He married Lucy Anna Rothermel January 28, 1866, in Northumberland County, and fathered Hannah Sevilla (b. 10/06/66), Rolandis (b. 07/06/68), Lorenzo (b. 1869), Isaac Monroe (b. 06/19/70), Anna Elizabeth (b. 01/02/73), Emma (b. @1873[?]), John (b. 1874), Charles Milton (b. 02/09/75), Amelia (b. @1876[?]), William Victor (b. 08/02/76), Sarah Ellen (b. 12/21/78), Nicholas Edwin (b. 1880), John Quincy (b. 06/09/82), Lucy Mary (b. 05/31/85), and Clayton Franklin. His parents were Nicholas Adams, born 7/17/1802 in Berks Co., PA, died 7/21/1850 in Sacramento, Hubley Twp., Schuylkill Co., PA (burial unknown to me) & Sarah Ann (Hoffa) Adams, born 1804, death unknown to me. He is a brother to John Franklin Adams #15812224 & Isabella (Adams) Seltzer #19689600. Nicholas & Sarah had 13 children total.
