WILLIAMSTOWN BURIES TWO OF ITS YOUNG WOMEN


Mrs. Elmer Deibler, (nee May Adams), died at the Williams Valley Hospital Friday, Oct. 14, where she was admitted the previous Tuesday to undergo an operation for appendicitis. The operation was a success but heart failure ensued and caused her death. She was aged 36 years, 4 months and 14 days.


Deceased was the daughter of Nicholas Adams and wife and resided on the Malick farm, midway between Williamstown and Lykens. She was married to Elmer Deibler18 years ago, who with two sons Ralph and Clayton, and one daughter, Catherine, survive. She also leaves her parents, five brothers, Rolandis, Charles, William, John Q., and Clayton Adams, and one sister Mrs. Lizzie Morris.


Mrs. Deibler was a member or the U. B. Church, the pastor, Rev. C. Miller conducting the funeral services at her late home on West Broad street (sic) at 1:30 P. M., Tuesday, and further services at the church at 2 P. M. Burial took place in Fairview cemetery (sic).

The funeral was one of the largest ever held at Williamstown, seventy-seven automobiles being necessary for relatives and friends. Mrs. Deibler was of a jovial nature and was admired by all who met her. Beautiful and numerous were the flowers sent by relatives and friends. Rev. Miller preached a very impressive sermon, eulogizing the character of the deceased, a faithful wife, and a loving mother.
