Agnes was their third child. She married Arthur C. Horton at Bonesteel, S.D. They had nine children. They raised their children on the family farm about 11 miles N.E. of Stuart, Nebraska. Art passed away August 6, 1974.
Agnes lived in Hastings, Nebraska, for several years until her health declined so that she needed support from her family, and at that time her daughter Sharon took her into her home in Omaha, Nebraska. Agnes' daughter Shirley joined with her sister Sharon in the care needed for their Mom.
Agnes loved and served the Lord Jesus Christ and attended the Hastings (NE.) Assembly of God church for many years. She gave faithfully to Evangelistic outreaches such as American Bible Society, Teen and World Challenge. She gave to other causes, such as fighting human trafficking and World Hunger. She totally enjoyed her family, neighbors, friends, her home, flowers and pets.
Agnes is preceded in death by: parents, sister, Rose Parshall, brother, William Ralph Dohnal, an infant daughter and her daughter, Delores Hock.
Burial was in The Phoenix Cemetery, Holt County, Nebraska.
