Bobbye Ann Ragland Williams passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by parents: Sidney A. Ragland and Sarah Ann Kirby Ragland, Brothers: Bedford, Vernon, Savage, Verble, Lester, Cordell, and Guy Ragland; and her Sisters: Bessie Brown, Ethel Brown and Daris Apple.
Survived by daughters: Samantha Williams; and Suzanne Williams (Frank Fly); all of Tennessee; her kitty-cat: Libby; brother Thurman (Jenny) Ragland of Michigan; and sisters: Nell (Arlin) Barton of Kentucky; and Elise Huff of Tennessee.
Bobbye was born in Jackson County, Tennessee on September 8, 1934, the youngest of 14 siblings.
She moved to Nashville after graduating from Jackson County High School in 1953. She married Glenn Williams on February 22, 1962.

Bobbye is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Bobbye was a lifelong member of Curry's Chapel United Methodist Church where she spent many Sundays playing the piano and organ.
Services will be held at Curry's Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jackie Wheeler officiating.
Interment will immediately follow the service at Brown's Chapel Cemetery.

Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home of Gainesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
