Barbara Jean Bradburn, 78, of South Bend, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Center for Hospice Care. Barbara was born July 27, 1934 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Francis Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Farrel) Hale.

On September 19, 1962 in South Bend, Barbara married William G. Bradburn, who passed away June 3, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Katrina K. Brumley.

Barbara is survived by her daughters, Peggy Louise Jenkins of South Bend, Rebecca Lynn Bradburn of South Bend, and Billie Jean (Eric) Bradburn-Magyar of Granger; sons, Carl Richard (Cheryl) Jenkins Jr. of Celina, Ohio and Robert (Amy) Bradburn of South Bend; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Barbara worked at Bonnie Doon for seventeen years, retiring in 1979. She enjoyed traveling with her children in their motorhome, visiting sights such as Yellowstone National Park and taking her grandchildren to Mackinac Island. She also enjoyed cooking, and making her own greeting cards. Her favorite flowers were yellow roses, yellow mums, lilacs, lily-of-the-valley, and her favorite song was "Stranger on the Shore".
