The marriage of Miss Ida May Rushon [sic] and Mr. Patrick Powers, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Powers of East Walnut street was quietly solemnized Sunday morning at nine o'clock at St. Mary's parsonage by the assistant pastor, Rev. C. M. Teipe.

Mrs. Mae Powers, 76, of 126 W. Allen St., died Monday, 5:10 p.m. in the home.
She leaves her husband, Patrick H.; 2 sons Paul T. of the home and Patrick J., Lancaster; 8 daughters, Helen of the home, Mrs. Raymond Schleich, Mrs. Russell Brown, Mrs. Robert McGee, all of Lancaster, Mrs. Melvin Houser, Rocky River, Mrs. Richard Hammond, Youngstown, Mrs. Clarence Hoffman, Lemon Grove, California; Mrs. Robert Figley, Columbus; 23 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. James Groves, Carroll, Mrs. Dora Johnson, Lancaster.
Mrs. Powers was a member of Altar Rosary Society, St Mary Church who will recite the Rosary Wednesday, 8 p.m. at Sheridan's. Solemn Mass will be read, St. Mary Church, Thursday, 10 a.m., burial St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at Sheridan Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today. The family suggests contributions be made to personal charities.
