Funeral for Victim of Automobile Wreck Is Held at Redtown Thursday
CHAUNCEY, Sept 5---Approximately 500 persons attended the funeral service of Miss Flossie Hayburn, 20, held Thursday afternoon from the Mission Church at Redtown, officiated by the Rev. Mrs. M. L. Kimmey, minister of the church. Music was furnished by the Mission Church choir. Burial was made in the Maplewood Cemetery. Twelve girls acted as flower and pallbearers.
Miss Hayburn was an active member of the Mission Church. She was killed in an automobile wreck near Dayton Monday, at which time her brother Ernest, his wife and their small son were killed. Miss Hayburn is survived by her mother and several sisters and brothers. Her father died 19 years ago.
