JACKSONVILLE--Mrs. Hazel Jones, 74, Jacksonville, died at Mount St. Mary Hospital Tuesday at 7 a.m.
Born in Vinton County she was a daughter of the late John and Laura Cope Hayburn. She was a member of the Vore Ridge Community Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Ice, Jacksonville; a step-daughter Mrs. Georgia Williams, Mount Vernon; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Stella Givens, New Lexington; and a brother, William Rayburn, of Glouster.
Her husband, William Jones, three sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Services will be Thursday, 1 p.m. in the Van Fossen Funeral Home, Glouster, with Rev. Carl Radcliff officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Hazel Marie Hayburn married William Edward Jones on May 27, 1942 in Athens County, Ohio. This was Hazel's first marriage and William's second marriage.
