DIES AT CALGARY
Resident of Southern Alberta since 1910, John M. Appleton, 84, died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles S. Martin of Calgary.
His wife died in Lethbridge Dec. 31, 1935. A son predeceased him a few years ago.
Born in Yorkshire, he came to Canada from Belfast, Ireland, in 1910.
Left to mourn are Mrs. Putnam, Vancouver; Mrs. C. Martin, Calgary; Mrs. C. Hully, Mrs. Edmonds and Mrs. Hills of Lethbridge; and one son, Ernest, who is at present overseas
