York - Robert Edward Snell, Sr, 90, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 24, 2022, from SpiriTrust Lutheran the Village at Sprenkle Drive. He was the husband of the late Frances A. (Hilbert) Snell sharing over 66 years of marriage prior to her passing in October of last year.
Robert was born May 10, 1931, and was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lydia (Krout) Snell, his son, David A. Snell and his grandson, Jonathan R. Snell.
The celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022, at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc, 2114 West Market St, York with his Pastors, Donald Belch and James Fahringer officiating. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. one hour prior to service. Burial with a flag folding and TAPS presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard will be in Suburban Memorial Gardens.
Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He served the Lord by serving others. He will be sadly missed by his three surviving children, Robert E. Snell, Jr, Corey L. Snell and Sylvia A. Snell. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Aaron M. Snell, Zoe C. Snell and Cameron G. Snell and his great grandson, Hank R. Snell.
