Mrs. Leota Acosta, 71, of 221 E. Zarragossa St., died Sunday morning at her home following a long illness.
A native of Ohio, Mrs. Acosta had resided in Pensacola the last 50 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Waters & Hibbert Chapel with the Rev. Herbert A. Miller officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Licensed Pratical Nurses Association.
Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.

She was first married to Gabriel Judson Jordan (b 22 Mar 1879 in Pensacola, FL, d 8 May 1966 Los Angeles, CA) on 16 Oct 1906 at Columbus, Franklin, Ohio. He was the son of Francis Herbert Jordan & Corine Lucia Moreno Jordan of Pensacola, FL. The first marriage ended in divorce.
