Charles Decker Succumbs At 87
Charles L. Decker, 87, died Saturday at 3:30 a.m. at his home. He had been ill for several years. He had resided in Fremont for 58 years and was a retired mason contractor.
Friends may call at the Ochs funeral home beginning Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be held there at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in Oakwood cemetery.
The deceased was born September 13, 1870 in Leipsic, O., son of the late John and Lair Cutchall Decker. He married Ella Rutter in 1895 in Continental, O. She preceded him in death in 1952.
He is survived by a son, Clarence, Fremont; two brothers, William, Kalida, O, and Henry, Grover City, Calif., and several nieces and nephews.
