Effie E. Owca , 66, of 3083 Cold Springs Road, Baldwinsville, died Saturday in St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center.
She was a life resident of the Syracuse area.
She retired as supervisor of the Syroco Co. in 1986 after 43 years of service.
Surviving are her husband, Walter J. Sr. of Baldwinsville; a son, Walter J. Jr. of Mattydale; a daughter, Victoria N. Lago of Syracuse; five sisters, Dorothy Street and Mildred Brown of Onondaga Hill, Katherine Brown of Chittenango, Edna Kraynak of Camillus and Grace Reed of Syracuse; three brothers, Frederick Reed of Cardiff, Louis Reed of Nedrow and Horace Reed of Marietta; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, the Rev. Scott Kavanagh officiating.
Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m Monday at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina St.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of Central New York.
