Lillian Elliott, 88, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, in Bowie, Texas.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013, in the Drawing Room of the White Family Funeral Home with Larry Cox officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 til' 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at the White Family Funeral Home.
Arrangements are entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
Lillian was born June 16, 1924 to Harvey and Emma (Wheeler) Havner in Pioneer, Texas. She married her first husband, J.B. Dawkins, and he preceded her in death in March of 1981. Lillian was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and quilt making. She was an active member in her church, and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Emma Havner; three brothers; and two sisters.
Lillian is survived by her five children, William Dawkins and wife, Eddie Marie of Odessa, Betty Conine and husband, Jerry of Kaufman, LaRee Henry of Abilene, Kathy Cole and husband, Cloys of Bowie, and Jay Dawkins of Bowie; fifteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; twenty-seven great, great grandchildren; brother, Doc Havner; two sisters-in-law, Dean and Edna Mae Havner; and several nieces and nephews.
