Lois M. Owens retired from Sunnyland Foods after thirty-three years with the meat processing company. The daughter of the late Emory Gordon McDowell and Annie Belle Cone, Ms. Owens married Warren A. (PeeWee) Owens in 1965 in Thomasville who preceded her in death on November 26, 2007.
She is survived by two sons, Henry O. Cox and Dennis R. Cox and two daughters, Bonnie Smith and Libby Sculley
