Born in ytre Øye, Kvinesdal, married 19 Nov. 1880 in Kvinesdal to Anna Kristiansdatter. She died in 1930 and he died after 1932 in Kvinesdal. He stayed with his brother Hans in Sea Bright, NJ for a time in 1894-95, during which time his only son, Johan Martin died back in Norway. Andreas returned to Kvinesdal, not having found work sufficient to bring his family over. They had two children:
1.) Johan Martin Andreasen, b. 5 Feb. 1882, d. 11 Sept. 1894 in Kvinesdal.
2.) Kristine Andrea Andreasdatter, b. 24 Dec. 1883, d. 28 June 1966 in Kvinesdal, married abt. 1944 to Hans Peder Knudsen as his second wife. No children. He died 31 May 1965 in Kvinesdal.
