East Prairie - Funeral service for Ollie Geneva Mitchell of East Prairie will be held today at the Shelby Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
Mrs. Mitchell, 73 years old, died Sunday at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Nov. 29, 1922, in Marston, the daughter of D.M. and Opal Childers Allen. She and Joe Mitchell were married May 24, 1941.
She was a member of the Wolf Island Baptist Church near here.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Bobby and Randy Mitchell; a daughter, Bonnie Blumenberg; two sisters, Eva Mitchall and Erlene Gaddy; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
