Maurice J. (Mike) McQueen, 71, died Friday, Oct. 14 at Mercy Hospital.
Mr. McQueen was born Sept. 17 in Milton, the son of Edwin and Nell (Killam) McQueen. He lived his entire life in the Milton area. He graduated from Milton High School in 1935. He married Virginia Hudson on Aug. 24, 1940. He retired from General Motors in 1982 after 32 years. He served in the Army during World War II in the European Theater. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, American Legion and the Kiwanis.
Mr. McQueen is survived by his wife; one son, Thomas (Bonnie) of Delavan; one daughter, Linda of Milton; four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 17, at the Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton with burial in the Milton Cemetery.
