Marjorie Gaspard Roussel passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the age of 94. She was the loving wife of the late Rome' Roussel.
Devoted mother of June Laiche (Raymond), Erwin "Boolee" Roussel (Shirley), Dean Roussel (Theresa), Brian Roussel, and the late Faye Gaudet (Vernon), and Artidore "Pal" Roussel (Judy); step-mother of Audrey Vicknair (Paul) and the late Marie Mae Bourgeois (Pershing), Anna Vanasse (Raphael), Nellie Bourgeois (Lindy), and Alton Roussel (Connie). She was the grandmother of 46 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Proceeded in death by her parents Lonest and Lillis Gaspard and 4 brothers and sisters. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Marjorie was a native of Marksville, Louisiana and a resident of Paulina, Louisiana.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 2208 Jefferson Hwy, Lutcher, LA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2130 Rectory Street, Paulina, LA. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home.
