Elma M. Jackson, 94, of Rogers, Ark., died Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at a local skilled care center.
She was born May 19, 1918, near Mount Vernon, Mo., the daughter of Orpah M. Wood and Barney Marion Gott.

She enjoyed golfing, bowling, quilting, gardening and creating artwork. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 2005 after moving from Coffeyville, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester F. Jackson; and two brothers, Cecil Gott and Melvin Gott.

Elma is survived by her son, Gary Jackson and his wife, Clare, of Rogers, Ark.; one daughter, Deanna Kohlbrecher of Smithville, Mo.; two sisters, Vada Park of Parsons, Kan., Vera Sims of Wichita, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Coffeyville, Kan., with Pastor Gerald Morris officiating.
