Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Harley Otis McConnell and Viola DeHart McConnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Fouts and brothers, Wade and Wayne McConnell and a sister, Dovie McConnell. She was a good cook and enjoyed spending time with and talking to her family and friends. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son; brother; sister; half-sister; granddaughter; several nieces and nephews and great-niece and nephew and many other great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Saturday, March 9, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Bill Faulkner officiated. Burial was in Fouts Cemetery.
Macon Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
