Mrs. Laura Anna Kellogg, 56 years of age, of Clearmont, died at 6 o'clock this morning at the St. Francis hospital following an illness of two days.
She was born March 4, 1885, at Clearmont and was the daughter of Mr. Perry Farrens and the late Mrs. Farrens. She was married October 20, 1903, at Clearmont to Harry Otis Kellogg. She had resided on the farm, four and one-half miles northeast of Clearmont, thirty-eight years. Mrs. Kellogg was a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; one son, Donald Kellogg, Blanchard, Ia.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert McClure, Braddyville, Ia.; her father, Perry Farrens, Clearmont; four brothers, Pat Farrens and Ralph, Maryville; Perry A Farrens, Fort Collins, Colo., and Ciscero Farrens, Cheyenne, Wyo.; one sister, Mrs. Elmer Pence, Clearmont, and three grand children, Ada Irene Kellogg, Darlene Haves Kellogg, and Karen Ann McClure.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Clearmont with Rev. Ted Masters officiating. Burial will be in the Clearmont cemetery. Other arrangements have not been completed.
