She was born at Ellsworth Creek on Dutchman's Creek, Rowan Co., North Carolina (now Davie Co.) to Moses Ellsworth and Anna Maria Elizabeth (Henckel) Ellsworth. She died from typhoid fever on August 18, 1800, six days after her son Joseph, Jr. died, Harrison Co., Virginia (near present day Good Hope in Harrison Co., WV). She married in February 1777, Augusta Co., VA (now Germany Valley, near Riverton, Pendleton Co., West Virginia) to Joseph Louis Cheuvront. They were parents of eleven children: Mary Elizabeth, Catharine, Aaron, Joseph, Priscilla. Moses, Simeon, Caleb, Amos, Gideon and James Liteford. After Elizabeth died Joseph remarried and had four more children. (Our thanks for the good record keeping of her husband.)
