Mrs. Permelia Lyons, formerly a resident of Waverly, died at a hospital in Jacksonville last Friday afternoon. For the last 27 yeaars she had resided in Jacksonville, and for a number of years was an employee of the Prosterman clothing factory.
Her husband, James Lyons, and three sons, Richard Lyons, Marion Westnedge and Holland Westnedge. preceded her in death.
She is survived by the following children: Zenia Jolly, Claude Westnedge and Herbert Westnedge, all of Springfield; Mrs. Frank Turner, of Virden; Ralph Westnedge, of Providence, R. I., Opal Murphy of Chicago, and Pearl Antle of Jacksonville. There are 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville Monday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by Rev. William J. Boston.
Burial was in East cemetery, Waverly.
