Anna Luetta Wyder Spies of Reno, Illinois passed away in St. Francis hospital in Litchfield, Illinois January 9, 1928 at 6:00 a.m. at the age of 41 years, 9 months, 5 days.
Death due to chronic kidney complications. A still born daughter was buried with Anna Luetta Wylder Spies. A son Virgil Myrl Spies preceded her in death at the age of sixteen. Seven children survive along with husband and Aged Mother Sara A. Wylder brothers and sisters. Mrs Nellie Lynons of Jacksonville - Mrs. Helen McIntyre of Staunton - Mrs. Della Wendle Springfield.
Brothers Harry and Charles Wylder of Springfield. Two grand daughters Aline Loretta and Arline Luetta Kennedy daughter of Helen Spies Kennedy.
The early part of Anna Spies's life was spent near Modesto, Illinois where Anna was converted and joined the Methodist church. In year of 1904, coming with Philip Spies to live on a farm in Bond County. near Donnellson, Illnois where all of the children were born.
Anna Luetta Wylder Spies was a faithful and loving wife and mother to children and to the friends of the community will be sadly missed.
Funeral services will be held at the Reno Bethel Presbyterian Church Wednesday Jan. 11, 1928 at 11 o'clock with Rev. A.L.Allison Officiating.
The solist were Minnie Eula McCracken Lohman, Freda Busby Weber, Eugene Furguson, Walter Smith All of the Reno community.
Interment was made at The Reno Bethel Cemetery.
