VETERAN

On March 22, 2013, Duane Kenneth Burrows, our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed peacefully into our Heavenly Father's arms surrounded by his family. Duane was born July 27, 1922, to Lewis and Myrl Burrows the 5th of 10 children. He graduated from East High School in Salt Lake where he met the love of his life Beverly Keate. They were married on March 29th, 1941 and they were later were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. They had 3 children. He served in World War II in the Philippine Islands for 2 years as a staff sergeant.

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, his callings were numerous he served as a 2nd counselor in the 22nd ward bishopric, stake missionary, ward and stake dance director, 18 years as high priest group leader, and a temple worker at the Provo Utah Temple and Salt Lake Temple.

He worked for Underwood Corporation, graduated from Stevens-Henager and Dale Carnegie Training Center. Successfully operated their business, Duane's Office Equipment, for 45 years.

He is survived by his wife Beverly Keate Burrows, his children: Michael Duane (Claudia), Richard Dean (Maureen) Burrows, Beckie (Mike) Herring; 17 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren and siblings Joyce Miller, Gale Burrows, and Reed Burrows.

Viewing will be held Monday March 25th from 6 -8 pm at Berg Mortuary, 185 E Center St. Provo. On Tuesday March 26th, funeral services will be held at Marriott Meadows Chapel at 50 N 2400 W Provo, UT. Interment will be at Provo City Cemetery.
