"Agnes was born Aug. 3, 1895, in Ward Township, Tioga County, PA, a daughter of Layton and May Sherman Lyon. She attended the First Baptist Church of Troy. She was formerly a member of Troy Grange and member of the Armenia Mt. Missionary Society.

"Mrs. Everts is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Harley and Esther Everts, Troy RR1; daughter and son-in-law, Genevieve and Lawrence Roloson of Columbia Cross Roads RR2; son-in-law, Adrian VanAlstine of Beaver Dams, NY; brother-in-law, Adrian Everts of Duluth, Minn.; sisters-in-law, Mildred Everts of Houghton, NY and Gladys VanVliet of Troy; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

"The funeral services were held at the Vickery Funeral Home with the Rev. Garry Zuber officiating. Burial was at the Checkerville Cemetery, Checkerville, PA. Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church of Troy or the Troy Ambulance Association."
