Edna Everts VanAlstine, 69, of Beaver Dams, NY died May 7, 1990 at her home. She was born August 16, 1920 in Berrytown, PA to Walter and Agnes Lyon Everts. She and Adrian VanAlstine were married June 21, 1941 in Troy, PA. She was a graduate of Troy High School. In Beaver Dams, she was a member of the Grace Lee Memorial Wesleyan Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 30 years and a church pianist. She was involved in home ministry since 1977 at Falls Home for Adults, Three Rivers Health Care Center, Beaver Dams Home for Adults, Schuyler Hospital Long Term Care Facility, Elcor and Green Meadows. Surviving are: her husband; sons, James and Gary, both of Campbell, David of Beaver Dams; daughters, Kathryn (Mrs. Richard) Rounds of Addison, Patricia (Mrs.Ronald) Foster of Coopers Plains, NY; her mother, Agnes Everts of Troy,PA; a brother, Hartley Everts of Troy; sister, Genevieve (Mr. Lawrence) Roloson of Columbia Cross Roads, PA; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Bernard, died in 1971. Services were held on May 10 in Grace Lee Memorial Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Roy R. Straub officiating.
