Cleve Eldridge, of this city, died suddenly at his home here at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 21.
Deceased was born southwest of Waverly, April 6, 1885, the son of Charles and Lucinda White Eldridge.
He was married January 20, 1908, to Bertha Branom, who survives him, together with five sons, Walter, Lowell and Wayne of Waverly, Richard of Auburn, and Alfred of Palmyra; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Williams and Mrs. Hazel Miner, of Waverly; three brothers, Oren of Waverly, and Earl and Charles of Pisgah; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Baggerly, Mrs. Elsie Points and Mrs. Neva Austif, of Waverly; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Edna May.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, Aug. 24, at 2:30 o'clock, at the Neece Funeral Home, Rev. Robert Kater officiating.
Burial will be in East Cemetery.
